Color Psychology Geometry

Description

The last of my Color Psychology projects! (though not the last thing to do for the quarter since I still gotta make my final portfolio book thingy of work I've done thusfar in the class ;adskfnmds)

We were allowed to pick whatever the heck we wanted for subject. So I just did a similar thing to my color scheme project wherein I took the same singular design- and redid the colors in each one, however this obviously had much more freedom in that I got to pick whatever colors of my choosing. So this is the result

The top left is supposed to be the "normal" colors you'd percieve all the objects in the area to particularly be, and then each one is supposed to gradually distort your understanding of the scene/evoke different emotions/philisophical blah de blah :iconimsotiredplz:

Also each pair of scenes next to each other is a bit of a contrast in itself, normal vs inverted, bright vs dark, ect ect :>

Let me know what sort of crazy things the different colors in each scene make you think of!

Cameos were provided courtesy of my rarely drawn arch nemesis Olivia and the even more rarely drawn moon rock person of sorts I created eons ago Glimmer :P

PS: The idea of this style I plucked from a technique I ended up doing back on my Kirby Canvas Curse mural in one of the backdrops, t'was pretty fun returning to it for something like this!

This is very well pulled off and really shows off how different colors make a difference to the mood. The 2nd one feels very cold yet familiar and welcoming, being very lush and lively. The third one reminds me of some sort of otherworldly place and looks like a heaven-type of setting, while the fourth is rather ominous and swampy, making the atmpshpere appear polluted.
My favorite ones are the the last two since it shows off the effect even more because you changed just one color. The 5th is very somber yet sinister, while the 6th is laid back, slow paced and modern. Very nice work! :D
