Hat - Fuka

A free commission for the 1st place winner of a contest my good friend held a while back. :>

Was the winner and got the option of one free hat commission at about $20 in price, and upon her request we settled on my recreating of Fuka's hat from Disgaea 4

I was a bit skeptical of agreeing to the price at first, but after finishing this I'd say that I'd probably charge this much for a hat of this sort in the future afterall, as it wasn't that hard, it just took a little pattern making to get a more refined version of what I attempted to do in the past with hats like these:

Now I can finally say that I've got a pattern I'm happy with, and outside of a little bit of tweaking to the base pattern shape this is likely what I'm going to stick with in the future should anyone else commission "newsboy cap" style hats like this. :> Also it does look more full when actually worn rather than placed on a styrofoam head, hence why it looks a bit puckered at the seams. xB
