Team Badnik

Perspective, why you no like me

YEAH I went back to playing Sonic Heroes and I couldn't help but picture these 3 as a team. Look if Sega can still have sonic eating chili dogs and giving sonic says segments (ala Sonic & Sega All-stars Racing) then dagnabbit these guys can make a reappearance.

So, the plot of this team I'd figure go something like this:

Obviously Sonic Heroes happens far into the future past when Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog occurred, (and even though I tend to consider the Robotnik of that show and the current Eggman two separate people, for the sake of THIS I'll picture them the same person xDDD) and Eggman has gone off to build all sorts of new minions and robots, making them a bit more consistent in their designs. Basically Robotnik/Eggman got fed up with these guys persistence & idiocy that he finally kicked them to the curb, moving on to build more powerful *and easily destructible* minions. When these three catch sonic and his pals all going out to stop Eggman once more, they figure that they can team up and try to capture the hedgehog once and for all, and if they did then Eggman would be SURE to take them back. >8D

I debated a bit on what position on the team each of them would have, but finally decided on Scratch being Speed, Grounder for Fly, and Coconuts for Power. Multiple times in AoStH Scratch indirectly and intentionally ended up in the role of Sonic, and of these three he also tends to be the appointed 'leader'. I picked Grounder for Fly simply because he's the only one with flying attachments, and also just like Scratch, he's ended up in the role of Tails a time or two himself. Coconuts then ended up in the Power position, and after a bit of thought it seemed kind of fitting. I figured he could use all his different cleaning supplies to 'mop' the floor with enemies. >8D Or he could pick up his teammates and toss them like coconuts. And maybe for floating upwards the threesom could all grab onto a giant dishrag. >XDDD

For the team blast- I just figured the three could "attempt" to say "We are the Super Special Sonic Search and Smash Squad! >8D" but it goes horribly awry and they end up blowing themselves up, along with all surrounding enemies.
